AMD preps gaming site

ACCORDING TO OUR good sources close to the company, AMD is preparing a new gaming site, but the company isn't certain what the domain should be. Current candidates are game.amd.com and gaming.amd.com.

In both cases, you will be greeted by Ruby wielding a Katana sword, so if you want to dig AMD secrets out, be prepared to fight her. Yours truly managed to avoid hitting this particular lassie, and managed to get away from AMD dungeon with at least one valid piece of AMD treasure, or maybe even two.

Since our default Radeon rep is tying the knot this Friday in a castle in Canada he hasn't been available for comment.

All that we can do now is play a guessing game, and that guessing game would imply that this has something to do with Phenom FX and X4 in tie with the Radeon graphics chips. A launch date is unavailable, but we would bet sometime in September. µ
