Websense to buy Surfcontrol

ANOTHER DAY another deal, as Websense said it is to buy Surfcontrol.

The £201m deal brings together two firms specialising in protecting against security threats on the web and via email.

Websense made no secret of the fact that it is especially interested in a property Surfcontrol itself acquired recently, the excellently named UK-based on-demand content security firm Blackspider Technologies. µ
