Google glitch makes us INQredibly happy

Read from the fossil record

THERE SEEMS to be a slight glitch in the Google news service but it's one we have to say that doesn't bother us much.

If you search on Google News for, say, Intel or AMD, you'll end up with a clutch of INQUIRER stories that aren't that recent.

There also appears to be a slight problem with the Google news alerts, which have also started delivering ancient stories from the INQUIRER to subscribers to that service.

Google News has been informed of the glitch and the folks there are working to fix the problem. It's not because we're filing ancient stories on our web site - it's possibly a problem with the Google crawling mechanism. Google News is still in beta.

In the meantime, read from the fossil record here for AMD or here for Intel. ยต
