EARLIER THIS MONTH we let you know about disgruntled OAP Mona Shaw who violently took action into her own hands when Comcast ignored her complaints.
She showed up at her local Comcast office and smashed company equipment with a hammer. Living the dream, you could call it, as I'm sure we've all experienced the frustrations that come with handling customer service hotlines, hopping from phone number to phone number on a seemingly endless quest for help.
The verdict's in, and the old dear has been hit with a three month suspended sentence and slapped with a $345 fine. She's also been banned from going anywhere near the Comcast offices for a year, says the Miami Herald.
Her and hubby Don finally fixed their phone and TV woes by signing up with rivals Verizon and DirecTV.
Mona says she's not proud of her actions: "I had a hissy fit," she claims. The INQ is proud of you, Mona. µ
Can she try calling BT for me? I've spent 31 minutes with no answer, 42 minutes and no answer, 17 minutes and no answer.

BT, please answer your phone or Mona is coming for ya!
The Feds need to be hammering away on Comcast now that they are 'proven' to be sending forged data packets to and from their ISP customers. 'Managing' their network this way could be construed as illegal under current US law due to the nature of interfering with electronic communications. At the very least this action, and the false denials, is immoral at best. 

Unlimited internet access apparently is not unlimited at all... I wonder if all those Comcast users are legally entititled to some sort of refund due to services advertised, paid for, but obviously not rendered?

The EFF should get in on this refund thing.
