SOME USERS REPORTED that they were afraid the SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) S@H database had been hacked after they got multiple spams with the following message:

"From : null admin9@cyberspace.org
"To : xxxx
"Date : Sun, 10 Nov 2002 04:24:03 -0500

"Dear Seti@home user

"s3ti s0ftwar3 haz h0l3es! w3 hav3 th3 intir3 databas3 onc3 again s3ti databas3 s3curity suxs larg3 on3s.

"UFCF Cr3w 2oo2 - m33y chrismax dipshit!"

We're attempting to discover whether this is a false alarm or not. The UCFC Cr3w 2oo2 group has recently developed something of a reputation. µ
