But claims they won't do a Dell
Mon Jul 31 2006, 12:18
COLOURED PLASTICS firm Apple has issued a world-wide recall of batteries sold with its 15-inch MacBook Pro computer systems.

The affected systems were sold this year between February and May.

The outfit claims the batteries "do not pose a safety risk". Rather it reckons the batteries "do not meet our high standards for battery performance."

The affected batteries have model number A1175 and a 12-digit serial number that ends with U7SA, U7SB or U7SC.
