Samsung shows off 70-inch LCD TV

The Korea Herald said the model is for the domestic market and is the biggest commercially available screen.

It uses LEDs to backlight the screen, rather than cathode fluorescent lamps, the report said.

The same article said it will build a new LCD fab in August which will churn out 46-inch and 52-inch panels. µ
