Nvidia to announce Forceware 10.something driver

A brand new interface
Monday, 13 November 2006, 08:26
NVIDIA is preparing a new Forceware. It first has to finish a DirectX 10 Vista driver for its G80 DirectX 10 hardware and that is priority number one. The other team is working on a new Focreware X.

After that it can concentrate on the Forceware series 10 commercially known as Forceware X. The first version may be called X10.18 or X10.25 and might see the face of the earth on Friday, in week 46.

The driver will have a redesigned control panel and it should look like nTune for Nforce boards. We can certainly say that Nvidia control panel driver interface sucks and that even I could make this illogical interface look better. I did the course back in school and know some rules that Nvidia didn't bother to contemplate.

The driver should find its place at partners.nvidia.com but you need a login to get there. We will let you know what we think about the new driver as soon as we get it. As usual no strings attached to any NDAs. µ
