CA man faces 90 years in clink

Sanjay his prints may come

THE EX-CEO of Computer Associates surprised prosecutors pursuing securities fraud and obstruction of justice by pleading guilty to all charges.

That means that Sanjay Kumar could get a 90 year prison sentence although a shorter term for the 44 year old is likely.

He changed his plea after a former assistant was arrested on Friday. It's alleged that Tommy Bennett helped Sanjay Kumar wipe incriminating data on his notebook hard drive.

As Kumar has now admitted he was guilty of obstructing justice, one might wonder why he didn't lose the notebook in the bottom of a very deep lake, or arrange for it to be "stolen", rather than an incompetent attempt to erase files and install the Linux OS, so leaving his prints all over a cover up of dodgy accounting practices. µ
