Nvidia launches 81.84 driver

SATAN CLARA and Nvidia is under alert as ATI's R520, Radeon X1800XT and the rest of the generation are release and performances are scarily competitive. What else could Nvidia do than to release a new 81.84 beta driver on the eve of R520 launch. What else did you expect?

We are still puzzled why Nvidia didn't want to send its now public driver for our R520XT testing but we guess it's because we are not playing by its rules.

The driver is available now and Nvidia is hiding behind lame argument that this driver is beta driver to support Black and White 2. We are sure that this driver will support this game but its main intention is to mess with the Radeon X1800XT launch. You should expect performance enhancement for dual core CPUs and you will be able to mix other vendors cards in SLI.

As Nvidia is scared of Avivo it's reacting with updated HDTV enhancements and enables PureVideo high definition de-interlacing support. µ
