Spansion takes Rambus licence

But non material benefits. Huh?
Thu Jan 11 2007, 14:05
SPUN OFF memory firm Spansion has licensed a "broad range" of patents from IP memory firm Rambus.

Spansion said it has licensed a number of patents so that it can design products aimed at the mobile phone market.

But despite taking the licence, Rambus said it doesn't expect to get much money from royalties. Which is a tad odd. And the "specific terms of the agreement are confidential". µ
