Epox to make 754 pin Nforce 4 boards

For all early Athlon 64/Sempron adopters, not adaptors
Tuesday, 21 December 2004, 08:37
MOBO FIRM Epox will introduce a Nforce 4 754 motherboard, based on the Nforce 4 Ultra chipset. It will be a high end board and will support all but SLI.

It won't arrive before at least February or maybe even later in Q1, that's the plan. For all 754 Athlon supporters and for Sempron 754 supporters it will give you an option to upgrade the board and graphic card without the cost of a new 939 CPU.

We can guarantee that the board will support PCIe 16X slot, DDR memory, Socket 754 and Serial ATA. I hope to be able to provide some more specifics soon enough. I guess that Epox won't be alone with such a board but it looks like it will be an early bird. µ

Nvidia Fermi

Will graphics cards built with Nvidia's Fermi GPUs be a hit?
