Microsoft High-Tech Summit Absolute brilliance

MICROSOFT TODAY showed off one of those products which you would never imagine it to have a hand in.

Star attraction at its Global High Tech Summit is a coffee machine that pulls information wirelessly from the net over a pager network? Yeah, I would not have guessed that one either.

It may not be a browsing bread maker or even a wired coffee machine, it breaks free and takes coffee to the wireless domain. Welcome to the Melita Smart Mill & Brew Coffee maker. It has a 10 cup capacity, and will pull the weather off the sideband of a pager network.

Yeah, some brilliant engineer figured out that when you are stumbling around for your morning caffeine fix, you might want to know the weather before you get dressed. Simple, brilliant, and caffeinated, what more can you ask for? ยต
