Stick TV on your laptop

Hauppauge brings TV via USB port
Tuesday, 22 November 2005, 14:14
WHEN IT COMES to sticking TV on your hardware, Hauppauge has the gear.

It's latest is a stick (the WinTV HVR-900) that even comes with an aerial. You simply stick the stick into the USB port and start watching live TV, not necessarily the station Live TV, but you get the idea.

In the UK you can get up to 40 digital freeview channels. Hauppauge is knocking them out for £74.99 and expects every self respecting mobile working telly addict to demand one for Christmas.

In the shops soon.

And remember you need a TV licenceto watch telly, even on a laptop.µ
