Mole's blog scrutinises Microsoft re-organisation

A secret blog Mini-Microsoft, wondered if the re-organisation was just shuffling the chairs on the deck of the Titanic.

Mini-Microsoft, has had the theme of trying to make Microsoft smaller and meaner and has been a pain in the arse to Microsoft for a year saying the outfit has become a "passionless, process-ridden, lumbering idiot”.

However the writer of the blog said at a high-level, the reorganisation was musical chairs and had avoided hard decisions.

The writer claimed that Vole's problem was that it hired too many talentless wonders during the dot com boom, and these guys hired more morons just like them.

However, the writer of the blog said the re-organisation, and the way Ballmer had handled it was a sign that Vole management was starting to listen. He said there was still a gap, between staff and leadership, but it was a start.

"I wanted to believe," he said.

Mini Microsoft reported other staffers' comments. One person said the problem was not that Vole didn't have enough techies. It just lacked enough people like Gates and Ballmer with any real business sense. µ
