Update your DirectX 9.0c today

Game demos demand it
Tue Oct 24 2006, 18:00
WE HAVE RECEIVED news from several colleagues in the gaming mags that there are some issues with stability in several new and many upcoming titles. It seems that more than a couple of games will require that users will have to install the latest version of DirectX 9.0c.

While the full versions of the games may come with a new version of DX9.0c, game demos do not come bundled with DX9, so an update is more than recommended.

The games with issues in question the IP-logging spyware-burdened Battlefield 2142 and the latest and greatest from the adventure genre - Broken Sword: The Angel of Death, both of which are solvable in only a couple of minutes.

Use our complementary L'INQ to get the latest version of DirectX 9.0c, dubbed "October 2006 Update".µ

L'INQ:
October 2006 Redist, a 56MB file.
