MAKER OF printer ink, HP. has admitted that the software used on two of its laser printers could be a back door for hackers.

The HP Color LaserJet 2500 and 4600 printers have a flaw in the software which allows hackers read any documents printed and gain unauthorized access to the PC.

The flaw was found by the Danish security firm, Secunia, which says the hack is ‘less critical' because it is a little difficult to pull off.

HP has issued a patch for the problem and are advising users to immediately upgrade their software. µ
