Israel to fund Hebrew StarOffice conversion

A REPORT ON AN Israeli wire said that the government will back and partially finance the conversion of StarOffice to the Hebrew language.

IBM will work with the Ministry of Finance to convert StarOffice into the Hebrew language, says Ynet.

The move is being taken because the Israeli government wishes to have an alternative to Microsoft Office, localised for the Hebrew language.
