Foxy Magee hires Fiorina shocka

Winsome Carly's charms win the day
Wednesday, 10 October 2007, 18:14

NOT FOR THE FIRST TIME, some wheezy old reprobate called Magee has taken more than a shine to Winsome Carly Fiorina, erstwhile bossette of HP.

Once the doyenne of respected news site The Inquirer, Winsome Carly has now been hired by respected news site Fox News. [Err, are you sure about this? - News Ed] [Oh, deary me, yes - Andrew].

La Fiorina is about to start work on the new Fox Business Channel, possibly as executive jet correspondent and cubicle farm dimension reduction editor, with a watching brief on maximising severance packages after running once-great companies into the ground.

"We are proud to have her join FBN as a contributor," Kevin Magee (no relation), executive vice president of Fox News, said in a statement earlier. " Carly Fiorina is one of the foremost business leaders of our time."

Carly was certainly foremost in terms of the $21 million she trousered after getting sacked by HP. Winsome Carly still maintains she has no regrets, although INQ proprietor Mike Magee (no relation) went unusually-quiet and refused to comment when quizzed earlier today.

La Fiorina says she is "pleased to have the opportunity to continue to speak out on issues of vital concern to our economy and our nation."

Financial details of this opportunity were not revealed.

Mike Magee is 93. ยต

Inq's Mageek is 93 ? since when

i thought that our Mike Magee was born in 1949... that means he turns 58 this year in December... He's still young :) ... where did you pull the age of 93 from ?

P.S.
WTF is with that verification code for the comments? it didn't appear at all until i allowed javascript for both the inq and vnu domains.

All the rest of the site works just fine without javascript, this is the first place i saw on the inq that absolutely needed js enabled to work :(

Fiorina: "SELL!"

Hey Foxy, why not just save the money and put up a 30 second commercial that says: SELL!!!

It would be the same thing as taking advice from Carly "missionary position" Fiorina.

Lies

Everyone knows McQuack was born 8 years after Pearl Harbor.

...or at least that's what Whackypedia told me.

well, i suppose...

if the only thing i cared about was myself and money, i'd join up with fox news too.... and use those tones and fake giggles in hopes of eating away people's soul while i fill my pocket

Quel Horreur!

I'm not sure how I feel reading a news site founded/masterminded by a dirty, lecherous old man. Also, I forgot whether I was talking about the inquirer or anything put out by FOX

respected????

"Winsome Carly has now been hired by respected news site Fox News. [Err, are you sure about this? - News Ed] [Oh, deary me, yes - Andrew]."

I guess it depends who you ask. Fox News is either a respected news site or a propaganda arm of the u.s. government. I know you brits don't hold journalists in high esteem but surely Fox brought the words "free press" into a new realm of low.

Sure as you may be, Andrew, there are many who would disagree.
