Dell heralds AMD as the "future of computing"

ONE NEWSPAPER advertisement for Dell that we spotted in an airport lounge featured AMD Desktops, which the company's marketing department branded as "Superior" solutions. An AMD-powered E521 machine took the centre stage.

The ad also featured two Intel-powered machines, but these were tucked in the lower part of the ad and eclipsed by another AMD powered machine in the right-hand corner.

We have also had several e-mails from readers claiming to have a Dell ads in their inboxes which heavily promote AMD-powered desktops. A mosey on over to Dell's web-site and taught us that Dell now brands AMD desktops an Expert choice.
