NVIDIA HAS CATEGORICALLY denied rumours it will be slashing suppliers.
"It is absolutely untrue" said Nvidia spinner Luciano Alibrandi, of our earlier report that the firm might be about to axe five partners.
The denial flies in the face of confirmation from industry sources who specifically told the INQ Nvidia partner reductions were happening, but were being kept on the down-low.
The fact of the matter is, most Nvidia partners just can’t sell enough cards at the moment, a situation which is hurting them financially.
So this should be good news to second-tier makers like Foxconn Electronics, Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS), Biostar Microtech, Club3D and Albatron Technology, who were all rumoured to be getting the chop.
Apparently, however, even if Nvidia isn’t directly wielding the axe over its partners’ heads, the firm will probably shift most of its love and affection to just six partners - EVGA, PC partner, Asus, MSI, XFX and Palit. The dirty half dozen could suddenly find themselves getting all the green bits and chips well before the other partners, leaving the rest in a bit of a sorry state.
Without enough popular GPUs to flog – especially considering the market seems to favour ATI lately – Nvidia’s 'second class' partners may well have to leave the firm themselves, before they get gangrene and die. µ
We'll have to see what happens. All my rigs have BFG cards, I'd hate for there to be an issue there. BFG cards are really good quality.

Should I add them to my ATI partner list? (I guess we need a wiki aib partner list):

Charlie, are you there?
Same person folks. Just keep using the "Charlie" name please. It's not your real name anyway.
Its a matter of pricing and margins. I figure that the videocard market is experiencing a glut just like memory. There is too many cards out there and that just drops the price as well making the margin thinner. It doesn't help when you have idiots like cliffy B claim all PC gamers are pirates and stop releasing stuff to PC.

Come to think of it, there hasn't been many great releases to the PC gaming arena.

PC gaming is dying because developers are running to solid platforms like consoles with far less headaches.

Personally? I'm not planning on buying another gaming graphics card ever again.
...will it take to have the new that EVGA is about to ship an X58 motherboard?

Anyway as you noted, nVidia will make 5$ per motherboard just with drivers enabling this chip, not bad, not bad....
You talk like it is the end of nvidia.

Not all partners sell in all regions/markets, so aren't necessarily competitors.

For instance, of your list, these don't seem to sell in my region:
Diamond (I haven't seen a Diamond card in 5 years or more - North America and Europe only?),
Visiontek (North America only),
Club3D (Europe only),
Maingear (never heard of them, and neither has Google),
Jetway (Asia only on VGAs I believe),
Unika (China only),
Blizzard (I've never heard of them and neither has Google, but don't they make games? Such as WoW?)
and Connect3D (Europe only).

Oh, and FYI:
Force3D is the same company as Inno3D - Force3D sells ATI and Inno3D only sells Nvidia. You listed both these brands.
Tul IS Powercolor. Tul is the company, Powercolor is the brand, so you listed them twice!
And you did the same thing with Infotek, which makes GeCubes!

So you see, there is often no overlap of brands.
it only took the about 3 years to react to this story. But any who about console games, it has become more expensive to own a console, but then again a video card has kept right up there with them. You have four hundred dollars, do you buy a serious video card, or a serioous console?
The difference is obvious, Sylvie is far more coherent and concise. If it's pages of disjointed blithering, it's Charlie. If it's shorter, more elegant, more to the point, and probably deliciously bitchy, then it's probably Sylvie. One of these two can actually write worth a damn.
BFG is awesome. They always send me my rebates, and never had a problem with the cards. I <3 BFG!
