Neo Office released for OS/X

It's really Open Office
Monday, 27 August 2007, 10:29
APPLE users now have an alternative to Microsoft products for office applications. Neo Office 2.2.1 for OS/X has been released to general availability.

Neo Office includes word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and drawing programs, includes support for the Mac OS/X Spellchecker and Address Book and can import, edit and exchange files with Microsoft Office, though the support for Volish Office files is still labeled experimental.

It's based on the Open Office 2.2.1 codebase and licenced under the GPL. They could have called it Open Office for OS/X, but apparently chose the name Neo Office to appeal to cooler-than-thou Apple users. Neo Office is available for download from the link below. µ
