BUY HAS some stock of the newest ATI All in Wonder X800XT card which sells for only $337.97 after a $50 rebate. It comes with free shipping as well. The X800XT is simply one of the most powerful GPU around. It has been coupled with 256MB of GDDR3 memory, FM radio support and the new Remote Wonder II.

Meanwhile, Dumpinggoods is selling a 80GB Western Digital Protege hard disk drive for only $42. It is a 5400rpm, 2MB cache model, slightly obsolete but ideal for those looking for a cheap no-frill replacement for an old hard disk drive. They are also flogging cheap motherboards as well. ECS brands, especially cheap ones, might not prove particularly popular but at $9.99, can't get cheaper than that. The M925L microATX board features a Pentium 4 VIA P4M266 chipset which provides support for DDR and SDR as well as an AGP slot and two PCI ones. You also get onboard sound and video as well as LAN and PCCillin.

Surplus computers are having their 7th Annual Parking Lot sale on the 21st May 2005. They'll have around 100 pallets available for customers to pick through the goodies. One goody that might come handy is a Mini SD MP3 USB player which accepts SD memory up to 512MB for only $17.99. It has no display just like the iPod shuffle but sits in your hand palm easily. It doesn't have any onboard memory though but nothing prevents you of using your camera's SD card.

Tigerdirect have an Aspire ASA20-U PC featuring the Celeron D 340 processor running at 2.93Ghz for only £399.99. You get four PCI and AGP slot, Integrated audio, LAN and video, 256MB memory as well as a Dual Layer DVD writer and a 80GB hard disk drive plus Windows XP HE, you keyboard and a mouse. Also a nifty addition is a 9-in-one media reader. Acer seems decided to take HP, Dell and Packard bell heads on.

If buying second hand does not make you frighten you, then you might as well try the Acer Aspire 1362LC laptop from Dabs for only £341.91+VAT, approximately 10% less than its new price. It has been opened but comes with a full set of accessories, manuals, software and the packaging. it has a Sempron 2800+ inside, 256MB memory, a 40GB HDD, Windows XPHE, a DVD combo and a 15-inch LCD monitor. Interestingly though a similar version of that laptop sells in US for only $599.99 after a mail in rebate, thats £318.71 selling price, which does not include VAT of course. The 3002LCi also include Wireless LAN as well as a modem. µ
