MOBILE WIDGET provider Plusmo has today announced its free and customisable services for the Apple Iphone.

The Plusmo services, which Iphone users can access right now, provide all sorts of mobile Web 2.0 content including news feeds, blogs, photos, videos, and all that other internet good stuff. Sport updates, traffic reports, shop locators, specialised searches and games are all up for grabs too.

iPhone users will find the Apple-particular Plusmo homepage a breeze to use according to techie blogger Mike Elgan: "Plusmo makes text and photo based content far more readable than the Iphone Safari browsers zoom-and-pan interface," plugged Elgan.

Best of all for you lucky sods with Iphones, the service is free. The Iphoneless need not fret, however, since the Plusmo widgets are also supported on Symbians, Palm Treos, RIM Blackberry kit and Winows Mobile Smart phones. µ
