LOOKING FOR the cheapest large capacity MP3 player in the US, what about the Entempo Spirit 20 which is a 20GB MP3 player on sale for only $99.99, less than the iPod Shuffle? it is larger than the latter but comes with a large backlit LCD display, a FM Tuner and up to 10 hours play time. You are highly recommended to update the firmware though.

eCost has a cracking deal with this Dual Xeon 2.0GHz from Compaq on sale for only $475.99. Now that's cheap. You qualify for a $50 cash back on any Epson printer. The Evo W6000 comes with Windows XP Pro OS, 256MB Rambus PC800 ECC, a 40GB HDD and a Dual Head Matrox G550 video card. Why not add in that Silver optical mouse with a 800dpi resolution for free (after rebate). Manufactured by iRock, the Silver 7300 delivers simplicity and style.

Scan computers has a special deal on a XFX Geforce 6800LE-TD with 128MB memory for only £99.99+VAT. You get DSub, DVI and TVO as well as a card that might be moddable to something much better. It is an AGP model though.

Aria has a digital camera called the VC3260 for only £34.95+VAT. Now that camera is sold for much more elsewhere and on Ebay. It features a smallish 1.5-inch TFT LCD and a 3.2MP CMOS sensor, which can be interpolated to 6.6MP. It has an inbuilt 16MB capacity which is upgradable via SD/MMC. It can record films and weighs less than a walkman.

Fancy a Pentium IV for cheapo, buy this HP Vectra P4 base unit for only £99 + P&P. It is a VL800 with a Pentium IV 1.4GHz, 256MB RAMBUS memory and a 20GB HDD plus a separate nVidia graphic card, CDROM and floppy. No news whether there's an OS with that. µ
