Carrefour to flog Dell kit in Europe

Supermarket chain will sell notebooks, desktops

DELL SAID it struck a deal with the Carrefour Group which means that 365 superstores across Europe will sell its kit starting in January.

The stores will be in France, Belgium and Spain, but more countries will sell Dell kit during 2008.

So how's it looking on the Dell supermarket front? The firm said this latest deal means nearly 10,000 shops will be selling its kit - Staples, Courts, Gome, Big Camera, Carphone Warehouse and Wal-Mart already sell some Dell equipment. ยต

New factory working

This retail deal is partly due to the opening of a Dell factory in Poland. They are working at close to full steam at the moment.
