American computer sent threatening email
INSPECTOR KNAKOOR of the Mumbai Yard is looking into a threatening email allegedly sent from an American's computer.
They believe that the man, identified as Haywood, might have had his computer hacked through a wireless internet connection.
Coppers from the Anti-Terrorism Squad had raided Haywood's residence located in the Sanpada area of Navi Mumbai after the IP address appeared on a threatening email just prior to the Ahmedabad blasts.
The American's hard disk has been sent to the Forensic laboratory in Kalina for further questioning and beating with a rubber hose.
Apparently Inspector Knakoor has not ruled out the possibility of a malicious software having been installed on the computer which, in turn, forwarded the e-mail at the designated time, the official said. ยต

Haywood is the standard first name for an American joke person with the last name Yabloome. The joke works when the full name is pronounced fast, e.g. through a paging system at the hotel.
One additional fact has come to light. Non Detained person whose computer was confiscated is reported to be 47 year old American from California. Living on palm beach road in India somewhere as renter. Reason "Non" suspect was released as Indias' Internet police felt email may have just been forwarded by Americans computer. although It DID Come from that Computer. Come On, How Much Do those Investigators even know about computing? Forwarded, Indeed!

If You Detain Suspect & Problem Stops, then thats right person, right? Another suspect is being held for 15 days, native Indian.
