Intel falls into ARM's arms

BRITISH OUTFIT ARM said it will cooperate with Intel to provide security for PDAs, set top boxes and mobile phones.

According to ARM, its Trust Zone technology complements Intel Authenticated Flash by providing an extra level of security, which includes decryption of messages.

The Intel Flash Memory Group has apparently endorsed ARM's Trust Zone.
