Selwyn sells eight way dual Opteron system

A FIRM said it has started selling the Iwill H8502 - an eight way 16 core Opteron system.

The H8502 supports up to 128GB ECC DDR memory in 32 slots, has dual PCI Express X16 slots, one PCIe X4 and five PCI-X slots, as well as having an Adaptec 7902W Ultra 320 SCSI controller.

Selwyn said the machine it's supplying has two redundant fan modules and three system fans, 1350W N+1 redundant power supplies, and six hotswap SCSI RAID drives.
