AMD R600 delay causes partners to blub with dismay

PARTNERS HOPING to leapfrog the opposition by showing off AMD-ATI R600 cards at CeBIT in Hangover this month are wailing and gnashing their choppers, Digitimes reports.

According to the wire, delays to the R600 mean just about every demonstration of cards at the show will be canned but the report also claims ATI-AMD partners are bitterly disappointed.

But every cloud has a silver lining. Nvidia and its partners are probably not bitterly disappointed at all. µ
