CYBERNET COMMUNICATIONS said it deployed its WiMAX wireless web service in Los Angeles, Vernon and City of Commerce.

CyberNet claims that its latest service will provide a reliable high speed web alternative for local businesses, while also establishing "redundancy options" for the larger customers who are after data connectivity.

Quoth Cybernet, the service will "enable customers to successfully support their mission critical applications. In addition to higher speeds, business clients will benefit from cost savings of as much as 60 per cent." Righty-oh.

The service will support all the norms, including VoIP, video applications and Hosted PBX, says CyberNet. µ
