Fri Aug 17 2007, 15:15
X86 FIRM Via told a Taiwanese audience that it will introduce a one watt Eden ULV processor.

According to Digitimes, the tiny 21mm by 21mm Via CPU will clock at 500MHz and has several design wins already.

The same article said that it will introduce the VX800 chipset for the firm's reference ultra mobile PC (UMPC) gizmo later this year.

And 10 manufacturers have already expressed interest in using that chipset. µ
