AMD's Henri Richard rumored to be joining Apple

WHISPERS IN the park near to Sunnyvale HQ is that sales and marketing man Henri Richard may well be joining Apple.

Sheesh. Henri had better divest himself of those expensive ties he wears, and start wearing a black turtleneck if he wants those guys at iCupertino to take him seriously.

The AMD guy flying his RC plane is ticked off that he can't do so on the green behind Sunnyvale any more, now it's sold for housing, so he was ready to beef about other AMD topics too.

Despite the nice memo the Dark Mayor put out inside AMD the other day, there's a whole heap of bunnies unhappy that Monsignor Ferrari is off at this critical moment.

So will Henri tip up at Apple? Stranger things have happened. And when he does, will he develop a halo like St Steve Jobs of iCupertino has? A golden halo? µ
