The Fast and the Furious game to be released in summer

The game is tied in to the release of a Universal Pictures motion picture presentation coincidently called The Fast and the Furious.

The new game will be released on the PSP and the PS2 this summer. There is a bit of history behind the game and movies. The first game was developed by an outfit called Genki several years ago and was based on the original movie. However, it was withdrawn and the new game is entirely different.

A spokesNamco said that the game will have some never-before-seen drift mechanics, endless customisation capabilities and top licensed cars. It's everything a racing fan could ask for sort of a real motor to play with, they say.
