Maxtor, Seagate should help
Sunday, 6 January 2002, 12:42
IT LOOKS LIKE one of the best sites on the World Wide Web covering the storage market is not long for this world.

A message from the site's Web master posted as part of this there says that the lease on the servers for SR ends on the 28th of January, and that a formal statement will be issued on the front page, which you can find here.

If this is true, this is a big loss to the hardware community and we think maybe it's about time the big cats at Maxtor, Seagate et al get some money out of their pockets and do some serious sponsorship for what's a great and very useful site.

Heck - maybe they could even take over the lease and give the guys some real money so that they can keep the wolves from the door. ยต
