If you can't beat 'em join 'em

DIRECT SELLER DELL is dumping all its principles and will begin flogging PCs at Wal Mart this weekend.

"Dell does not sell in the shops" it says in its UK Telly ads. Well, it does now.

According to a Cnet blog, the firm will flog its AMD-powered Dimension E521 PC in shops across the U.S.

Dell, of course has been struggling ever since we gave the world those pictures of that exploding laptop in Japan.

Now even its direct model is in tattters as Mikey Dell, whose autobiography is called Direct from Dell, tries every trick in the book in order to return to money-making ways. µ
