DUTCH FIRM Gravity Zoo reckons it can deliver Framework applications to any device that uses a chip without cluttering up your browser.

For example, say you're working on a word processing document on your notebook, then you want to adjust it on your PDA, this here framework stuff tracks your changes while you're connected to the net and updates changes in milliseconds.

That's according to Marc Vrijhof, CEO of the firm, who thinks that HTTP and CGI are limited, don't have a secure application framework, and rely on browsers that are getting ever so bloated.

Yeah, he says, something like Ajax does a similar job, but that has problems because of accessibility difficulties and has a considerable performance impact, as well as exposing business logic.

He said that his firm's kit has low development costs, applications can be device aware, and it's easy to port existing applications.

The firm is offering the SDK for free for non commercial use, and he said that his firm will either embed adverts to make money, or deliver specific projects for a fee.
