Intel confirms price cuts

CHIP GIANT Intel confirmed price cuts were made on several of its ranges of microprocessors today.

The firm said: "This is a normally scheduled pricing change previously communicated to our customers, which follows a number of new product introductions spanning server, high-end desktop and mobile market segments."
