PAT JOHNSON, a technical expert at Chipzilla, will outline today the future of fans once Intel's released its Prescott microprocessor.

These are reference designs for future microprocessors, and Intel naturally wants to avoid water glugging round.

Just think. If there were loads of Pentium M desktops out there, there wouldn't be any need for all this high-tech stuff.
