One in five managers reads email on the bog

US small business down the toilet
Tuesday, 9 January 2007, 09:13
MORE THAN one in five small business managers in the US reads their emails in the toilet, according to a survey conducted by office supply outfit Staples.

According to the survey, managers don't have much in the way of time these days, so instead of reading the newspaper they go through their mail, whilst perched on the porcelain.

Apparently SMEs are not exactly flushed with success either.

The survey of 300 US business owners and executives of firms with no more than 20 employees, suggests that more than half of them were working during time meant for family.

What is scarier is that more than half think it is ok to read their mails while they are driving.

More here. ยต
