See Microsoft, Transmeta collaboration: A handheld Xbox 360?.

That speculation was strengthened yesterday after Transmeta (tick: TMTA), said it had almost completed its deal with Microsoft which resulted in 30 engineers being seconded to Seattle.

Well, Microsoft may as well go for the jugular, now that it seems to have Sony and the Cell chip on the run. No? Power management know how is important and Transmeta has plenty of that. The TMTA share price stands at $2.04 as we speak - a long haul from the doldrums it was sailing in this time last year. µ
