THERE'S A PROMISE FastTrak TX2000 review over at X-bit Labs. It showed good results in WinBench tests and was "just excellent" in all Intel IOMeter patterns due, they say, to optimized drivers and a terrific job by the Promise software developers. Wibble this way.

In moboland, the guys at HardOcp take a good look at Asus's A7V333 RAID mobo over here.

GamePC has an Athlon MP motherboard shootout over here. It's Asus vs. MSI.

And the lanaddicts have reviewed Albatron's KX400+ Pro motherboard over here.

Here's another shootout. Down in Tweaktown, four GeForce 4 Ti4200 cards face off in a graphical thrilla. That's over here.

The OverclockersClub of Canada has posted a review of AOpen's Geforce 4 MX440 video card. You'll find that over here. And, should you feel the urge, they're offering some brand new Overclockers Club case badges. Coo! Wobble this a-way.

We posted the news here of how ATI is gearing up to use its Fire GL range to kick off a graphics chip price fight prior to the introduction of the new Radeons. Anyhow, here's a snap of an ATI FIRE GL X1 256MB DDR and AGP Pro graphics card for those gagging to lay eyes on such a thing.

Rage3D posts a Radeon 8500 BIOS comparison over here, dispelling, they say, a few myths about the benefits of BIOS flashing. Just coz it's new don't mean it's any good, they reckon.

Over at AMDZone they've had a look at five coolers in their Athlon heatsink round up That's over here. They fiddle about with a 512MB stick of Corsair PC3200 DDR memory over here. There's also a piece on building a first-time water cooling system over here.

And finally, we also have to thank the AMDZoners for pointing us at this little tale of how your Lego men can help you out with your DIY build-a-PC-kit. Oh yes. Wibble this way. µ

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
