Bug in 3DMark 2003?

THE LADS AT Neowin say they have discovered a problem with 3D Mark 2003. They say the effect is so severe a patch should be issued straight away. That's possibly debatable, given the nature of the problem.

Ace's Hardware has a few interesting articles on its site today. The first talks about an article on semiconductor physics, while the second outline's Sun Microsystem plans for its CPU cores. You can find both, here.

AMD Zone refers to Xbit Labs which refers to a Croatian site about Nforce versions with GeForce FX cores.

OC Workbench notes that the AMD Barton 2800+ is already on sale in Japan. here.

It's available in the States too, according to this site.

Somewhat astonishingly, the UK is also doing OK on this front. Time seems to be selling a machine using Mr Barton 3000+ already. We saw this in our paper this morning, but here it is on Time's Wibble Site, as well.
