A-DATA TECHNOLOGY , which claims it's the fourth largest DRAM manufacturer around the world, is the first Taiwanese company to receive the Intel validation of the DDRII 533MHz Non-ECC unbuffered DIMM, as well as the first to have its DDR-II series of DIMM products approved by the Intel Memory Validation Lab.

Knock me down with a feather.

A-DATA received a validation from Intel for its DDRII 533 unbuffered DIMM back in April, and after a length of research and development, it had its DDRII 533 So-DIMM and DDRII 400 Registered DIMM pasted by Intel in June and July.

According to A-DATA, the most important improvement of DDRII memory modules over DDRI are the Posted CAS and the additional latency function, as well as the Off Chip Driver program and the new power down mode. We'll take your word for it, A-DATA! ยต
