HP mends it with Mendocino

Storage Boosts ILM cred at the high end

HP HAS filled a hole in its high-end storage offer with the addition of Mendocino RecoveryOne software to its storage management portfolio.

RecoveryOne software continuously backs up data as it moves through a SAN. It will now be part of HP's information lifecycle management (ILM) storage software, available through HP's partners.

HP says the solution will be useful for organizations like financial services companies and insurers who now need to account for every bit of data on their systems. µ
