IBM RELEASED a few Thinkpad models, including the G41, which is a "desknote" style model with either a 532 Pentium 4 or Intel Celeron D chips. The G41 also offers 14.4-inch or 15-inch displays, 30GB or 40GB hard drive, wi-fi, integrated Intel graphcs using the 852GME and weighing a hefty 3.70Kg.

G41The models also come with CD-ROM or 8X DVD drives, include four USB 2.0 ports, mouse, parallel port, integrated Ethernet and modem, and Windows XP Professional.

The prices vary depending on processor, hard drive and screen size, and also on additional software installed.<> But for a 40GB notebook using a Celeron D320, with 245MB of memory and a CD-RW/DVD and 15-inch screen, the list price is $1,339. µ
