The MSI GX600 is really the flagship device in the firm's new line of high-end machines, sporting a 15" screen and Intel Core 2 Duo under the hood.
There are some cool new pics here.
Most obvious is the 'Turbo' button which MSI has emblazoned across the top of the base unit which, as Charlie reported back at Computex, automatically whacks on a few hundred megahurtz to the processor clock speed and, we assumes, sends the cooling fans into overtime.
Also obvious is the Harley-esque paintjob, which features flames on a gloss black background. For those looking for big-screen action, there's an HDMI out on the side, which is far less conspicuous than a hulking DVI port, we have to admit. To make use of the HDMI connection, there's an HD-DVD drive for high definition movie watching, and whilst we haven't seen the specs, we assume the whole caboodle is pass-through HDCP compliant.
The machine sports the P965 chipset under the hood, and a 512MB GeForce 8600M GT for gaming. Expect to see the machine on sale in the very near future. µ
