Hitachi plans carbon neutral data centre

HAVING HAD an exclusive view of plans for the building, The Inq can now reveal the real truth behind this story – Hitachi is planning to make Tinky Winky, Dipsy, La-La and Po homeless, and use the Teletubbies' house for its servers.

And all in the name of 'green business'.

The evil plot was hatched by a partnership that combines Hitachi Data Systems’ data archiving technology with Data Íslandia’s to build carbon neutral facilities in Iceland. The facilities are run by geothermal and hydro-electric power, making this data archiving service the ‘greenest in the world’, says Hitachi.
