IBM buys storage firm

BIG BLUE BOUGHT Israeli firm XIV, it said.

The privately held firm makes "Nextra" products for storage management using mass parallelism and providing load balancing.

IBM didn’t say how much it paid for the firm, which is based in Tel Aviv. µ
