Wed Sep 13 2006, 15:04
GOOGLE HAS added some free content for its Earth program, including a "discovery networks" world tour, a US 58-strong National Park Service and the UN Environmental Programme.

Other additions include a Jane Google, sorry Goodall, Institute overlay illustrating research on chimps and deforestation in Africa, as well as a Turn Here overlay which guides to hotels, restaurant and travel.

You access the content by clicking on the "Featured Content" checkbox on the Earth sidebar. µ
